Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is not just hair removal.  It is controlled surface refinement.

By removing compacted dead skin, light reflects evenly and products penetrate more predictably. The goal is not thinning the skin or creating sensitivity. Done at the right frequency, it actually helps the barrier function more consistently.

We use dermaplaning to improve texture and prepare the skin for other treatments rather than as a one time glow.

Best for:
• rough or dull surface texture
• makeup sitting unevenly
• buildup that returns quickly
• enhancing treatment absorption

Not ideal for actively inflamed acne or highly reactive skin.  In those cases calming the skin first prevents irritation.

A note from Christina

Dermaplaning is one of those treatments that delivers instant results while still supporting overall skin health.  It gently removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz, which allows products to absorb more effectively and makeup to sit better on the skin.

At treat., dermaplaning is always done with precision and care.  We assess the skin first to make sure it’s the right option for you, and we tailor the treatment so it enhances your skin without causing unnecessary irritation.

While the glow is immediate, the real benefit is consistency.  When done regularly, dermaplaning helps maintain smoother texture, brighter tone, and healthier looking skin over time.
